Dark. Descent. is over the moon to announce the return of the Into The Dark Lands party – and the kickoff in December 2016 went so well that it is possible to continue the party at the site of Room 23 Music in Dordrecht, at Bibelot, which held its promise of providing the perfect location for this kind of event. Actually, the industrial venue itself provides the subtitle for this edition of ITDL, thus due tribute is paid.
Dark. Descent. head The Relic has booked a fine mixture of repeat offenders and exciting newcomers to the Dark Lands, keeping the agenda of sub-170bpm-range of doomcore, darkcore, industrial techno and other sinister, noisy and rhythmic styles and promising a night of rhythmic mayhem and darkness galore: Young Into The Dark Lands regular Ascend will make his 2nd appearance as well as the mighty Sound Abuse. Belgian allies Xaero & Mel Agony from Traumatic join the party roster to present their specifically grim sound, Hidden Rooms promises some techno-minded entertainment, and veteran Peaky Pounder will provide his unique funky industrial style in an extended (i.e. two hours long) set. The icing on the cake will be a joint performance by Sacerdos Vigilia & The Relic who promise nothing less than total devastation. So don’t forget enlist at the power station on 2nd September!
